John MeesAfter serving as site director of our Southampton location for 10 years, John decided to move closer to home and launch our St. Joseph’s site. After growing St. Joe's into a successful location, John set his sites on Suffolk to do the same and it is now thriving under John's stewardship.
John is passionate about education and summer camp. He believes that sports and academics have the potential to bring out the best (or worst) in each of us. With that in mind, John designed and implemented the character-development curriculum inherent in all program offerings at Suffolk (Sportsmanship, Leadership, Attitude, Responsibility, Teamwork).
John has taught honors Spanish at Mount Sinai High School for the past 18 years. In addition to his classroom duties, John also coaches all three seasons comprising boys varsity golf, girls varsity basketball, and girls varsity golf. He has coached numerous league champions and all-state performers in golf and helped lead the girls varsity basketball to Mt. Sinai's first Suffolk County title in 2017 and then again in 2019 and 2025.
John received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill and went on to earn master's degrees from both the University of Connecticut and Stony Brook University.
John lives in Sayville with his wife and son.
Keith GreeneCoach Keith brings championship experience as both a collegiate athlete and coach. A dual-sport standout in football and lacrosse at State University of New York at Cortland, he earned All-Conference honors and helped win the 2006 NCAA Lacrosse National Championship. At camp, he focuses on fundamentals, teamwork, and building confident, well-rounded athletes.
Keith has taught physical education for eleven years in the Brentwood Union Free School District and coaches varsity football, basketball, and lacrosse. He has led teams to championships and Coach of the Year honors, and he is excited to help campers grow in skill, confidence, and love for the game.

Every camper needs daily essentials, such as sunscreen, a healthy snack, lunch, a water bottle, bathing suit and towel, appropriate footwear, and, depending on the weather, rain gear.
