Our Sayville Middle School campus offers a vibrant, safe, and spacious environment where learning, play and skill-building come together.
Campers have exclusive access to the 9,000 sq ft indoor gymnasium with a curtain divider, a 6-lane 25-meter heated indoor swimming pool with 1 and 3-meter diving boards, a 400-meter
outdoor track, a 14-acre outdoor field complex with impeccably maintained baseball, softball,
soccer and multi-purpose fields, an enclosed turfed space with 4 tennis courts, modern computer labs, air-conditioned cafeteria, auditorium, general purpose classrooms, and more!
Sayville Middle School is conveniently located on Johnson Ave, just seconds off of Sunrise Highway. Future Stars Campers gain practical skills, build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting memories in a safe, inspiring, and fun-filled environment.

Future Stars campers enjoy exclusive access to the indoor pool located within Sayville Middle School. The pool is professionally maintained and regularly inspected to ensure the highest safety standards.
Campers participate in daily recreational swim for approximately 45 minutes and our youngest campers also receive daily instructional swim.
Safety is our top priority. Our highly-qualified aquatics staff holds extensive certifications, including Lifeguard, Lifeguard Management, WSI, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
All new campers are swim-tested on Mondays to assess skill level, with routine buddy checks conducted throughout each swim period.
Sayville Middle School is located in the heart of Sayville, New York on the South Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County.
The school is conveniently situated just south of Sunrise Highway (Route 27) and easily accessible from the Southern State Parkway and other major east–west roadways serving Long Island’s South Shore.
Its central Sayville location makes it easy to reach from surrounding Nassau and western Suffolk communities, and it is just minutes from the Sayville Long Island Rail Road station.
Early Drop-Off
We offer early drop-off starting at 8am for an additional fee of $80/week.
Late Pick-Up
Extend your camp day through 5:30pm for an additional fee of $80/week.
Campers can bring a packed lunch from home or join our weekly lunch program for an additional $80 per week.
Snack is provided for all campers towards the end of the day.
Aramark is the year-round food service provider for Sayville Middle School and is now "nut-free." Special dietary needs can be addressed and food allergies are not a problem.

Ray Willie2010 Metropolitan Swimming Coach of the Year. Ray Willie started his swimming career at age 7 at the Three Village Swim Club. He holds an undergraduate degree from University at Buffalo and a master's degree from Stony Brook University, both in applied mathematics. He is currently a high school math teacher at East Islip High School.
Coach Ray was a 14-time All-American for the University at Buffalo. He was two-time MVP for the University, Freshman of the Year in 1989 and Upper New York State Swimmer of the Year in 1989. In 2004, he was honored by University at Buffalo by being inducted into their Athlete Hall of Fame.
He began his coaching career in 1992 as assistant coach for Canisius College Men’s and Women’s Division I swimming program. His tenure has included Head Junior Coach Cheektowaga Stingrays, Head Junior Coach Three Village Swim Club, and Head Coach Hauppauge Swim Club and senior team coach Three Village Swim Club. He currently coaches Smithtown/Hauppauge Varsity Boys swimming and diving who has won back to back Suffolk County Championships in 2023 and 2024. Coach Ray has coached several NY State, Junior National, Senior National and Olympic Trial qualifiers. He is the owner of Long Island Premiere Swim School and dedicates his time to working with swimmers of all ages. He has been published in Splash magazine twice for drill techniques on both breaststroke and competitive dives.
Margaret KopcienskiMargaret has been with Future Stars since 2018, serving as head coach, office manager, and now Assistant Site Director at Sayville. She holds a bachelor’s in History and a master’s in Special Education from St. Joseph’s University, New York, where she also played on the women’s basketball team. Margaret currently teaches special education at Miller Place High School, bringing dedication and expertise to all her students.
A lifelong basketball player, Margaret helped lead her high school team to two Suffolk County Championship titles and competed in AAU tournaments across the East Coast. She is the founder of Basketball for All, giving students with disabilities a chance to learn and enjoy the game. Margaret is passionate about helping campers grow, build confidence, and love the game as much as she does.
All Future Stars programs run from 9am to 4pm, with morning drop-off starting at 8:45am and afternoon pick-up beginning at 3:45pm.
We offer two extended day options for campers, providing supervised activities both before and after regular camp hours. Families can enroll in Early Drop-Off at 8am for an additional $80 per week. They can also add Late Pick-Up at 5:30pm for an additional $80 per week.

In almost every case, there is one staff member for every four to eight campers.

Campers are grouped by age, skill level, and social needs to ensure a thriving and comfortable summer. We prioritize friend requests and offer a flexible approach to placement, ensuring each child finds the right fit and makes new friends.
Requests for changes to a camper's schedule can be made by contacting the Future Stars Sayville office directly via phone or email. We'll work to accommodate all requests, though changes are subject to availability.
Every camper needs daily essentials, such as sunscreen, a healthy snack, lunch, a water bottle, bathing suit and towel, appropriate footwear, and, depending on the weather, rain gear.
For program-specific equipment, such as cleats for soccer or a glove for softball, an information packet and email will detail exactly what your camper needs. Future Stars has some extra equipment available if items are forgotten.
Campers can bring a packed lunch in an insulated bag OR participate in our weekly lunch program.
As part of our comprehensive camp experience, we offer a delicious daily lunch (an additional $80 per week). Menus are planned for variety and taste so our campers can relax and enjoy themselves while preparing for their afternoon activities. Our staff will ensure your camper has the food they enjoy in the comfortable surroundings of the air-conditioned cafeteria.
Aramark is the year-round food service provider for Sayville Middle School. Their professional staff works full-time and is dedicated to culinary delights and food safety.
We require at least a week's notice to participate in the lunch program.
Special dietary needs can be met, and food allergies are not a problem.
Future Stars Camps operate rain or shine! If rain or thunderstorms occur, Sayville has indoor facilities so campers can continue building their skills and having fun until the weather clears.
